Michael Douglas- age can’t stop him

For the people who think that age is a barrier in the way of a person’s performance in life, Michael Douglas is an exception. Though he is 66 years old at present, he is as energetic and enthusiastic as anyone could ever be. He indeed is a gift to the film industry and in this article we have tried to bring into limelight his achievements over the years as an actor and producer. It would be worth mentioning here that Michael is a true inspiration to people who can stand strong, to succeed despite all odds.

Michael’s childhood was as good as it could ever be as he was born with a silver spoon. His dad was an actor himself and Michael was the eldest son. His interest in acting was from the support that he got from his dad. He was born in New Jersey and had a good education in the best of schools in town. His association with the world of movies started towards the late 1960s, with unpopular movies that never gave him much of fame. The period between 1972 and 1976 was the time when Michael set himself in.

The world changed for him towards the end of 1976, where he planned to try his luck at film production. It was the novel, ‘One Flew over the cuckoo’s nest’, that had worldwide appreciation and went on to win many awards too. Though initially he decided to act in the lead role, he decided against it, as he considered his age to be a barrier. Michael’s personal life was very decent with him being with his first wife for over 23 years, which is quite surprising looking at the situation around. The long list of awards that are to his name, show his expertise in his field.
