Lawyer Man: Powell is aces in this entertaining drama as an ambitious attorney, with an eye for the chicks, who tangles with crooked congressmen. Blondell is his dependable, lovesick secretary. Powell even talks Yiddish in this one. Cast includes William Powell, Joan Blondell, Claire Dodd, Sheila Terry, Alan Dinehart, David Landau, Roscoe Karns, and Sterling Holloway. (72 minutes,’32)
Forgetting Sarah Marshall: Here is a romantic comedy set in a beautiful resort in Hawaii. After being dumped by his girlfriend Sarah, he finally decides to go to Hawaii to get over the loss. Unfortunately, when he goes to check in at the resort, the first person he sees is Sarah, and of course her new boyfriend.
Diggstown: Friendly yam in regards to a con-artist just sprung from detention center sets his sights on a boxing match with boxer Gossett because he need to make a big paycheck. The 2 megastars are extremely good, even if the script is contrived. Cast includes James Woods, Louis Gossett, Jr., Bruce Dern, Oliver Platt, Heather Graham, Randall “Tex” Cobb, Thomas Wilson Brown, Duane Davis, Willie Green, and George D. Wallace. (97 minutes,’92)
The Lost World; Jurassic Park: John Hammond has learned to bring dinosaurs back to life from their DNA. After an attempt at marketing viewing these dinosaurs goes terribly wrong, all the animals are killed and the island closed. The problem is that something has survived.
Beverley Hills Cop 3: Axel Foley is back in action. He witnesses his boss being murdered and immediately starts an investigation. This leads him back to L.A. where the clues lead him to a counterfeit ring run out of an amusement park.
